Taco Chex Mix
In just under a week, the Superbowl’s coming on and we’ve got the perfect snack: Taco Chex Mix! Now if you’er like us, you don’t care so much for who’s playing, what happens, or who wins. We go for the food, the commercials, and the half-time show. Actually, to be honest, we normally read while the games on (and watch replays if anything cool happens)!
When we do Superbowl with our family (and OSU games and pretty much any other family get together- which is a lot because we get together for pretty much everything!) we go all out with the food! You should see us during Thanksgiving and Christmas- we basically cook enough food for an army. It usually starts out with all kinds of snacks (like Taco Chex Mix!) that everyone eats. And then no one’s hungry for dinner, but we eat it anyway! It usually results in a leftover lunch or dinner the next day.
And the Superbowl is hardly any different. It usually results in more snack-y foods like wings, pizza, chips, or Chex Mix, but there’s still usually way too much (not that anyone complains, because leftovers are King!). This year, we’re also going to be celebrating our grandpa’s birthday, so not only are we going to be taking this Taco Chex Mix (a guaranteed people pleaser), but we’ll also be taking a cake!
Let’s talk about this Taco Chex Mix. It’s basically a taco in snack form. And its delicious. Thats basically all you need to know, because who doesn’t want a snack-able taco? That’s what we thought. This is with out a doubt going to be one of (if not THE) best snack at your Superbowl party! We haven’t been able to keep out of it! And did we mention it’s only 3 easy steps? It’s perfect for this Sunday!
Taco Chex Mix
The perfect snack for Superbowl Sunday, game night, or any party. It tastes just like that taco you had last week and whips together in just 4 easy steps!

Melt the butter. Once melted whisk in the taco seasoning. Pour over the Chex and pretzels and gently stir until evenly covered. Place onto a baking sheet in an even layer
Bake on 250F for 45 minutes, mixing the Chex Mix every 15 minutes. Once it's done, dump the Chex Mix onto absorbent paper towels and allow to cool
