Deep Dish Peanut Butter Cookie

We’re not joking around this week, we’ve got a Deep Dish Peanut Butter Cookie and we’ve packed it full of as much peanut butter flavor as we possibly could!

Talking about Deep Dish cookies brings about thoughts of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. The last time we were in Chicago was years and years ago on a Girl Scout trip and as the young little brats we were we didn’t get any deep dish pizza while we were there. We were chicken fingers and french fry kids, actually our grandma used to tell us that if we ate any more chicken fingers we would turn into them! Come to think of it, we’re still chicken finger & fry kids. Guess grandma was wrong, we haven’t turned into chickens yet- and we’ll keep risking it 😉

Anyway, deep dish pizza, fan or no? When we were in Texas, we met a girl from Chicago and someone from NY and they argued and argued about Deep Dish or NY style pizza. We’ve even heard claims that deep dish pizza isn’t real pizza. Thoughts? What do you guys think, deep dish or NY style pizza? We’d prefer NY style any day! Well, except when it comes to cookies…

Remember our Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie? Well, we thought it was time to bring it back again, but this time with a twist! Peanut Butter is one of our favorite flavors and we eat it everyday, on almost anything! We figured the best way to make a peanut butter cookie better would be to make it DEEP DISH. And we even added Reese’s Piece’s to it. So not only did we make it deep dish, but we also added more peanut butter flavor to it! You’re welcome.

Oh, and did we mention, it’s no mixer required, you can mix it in one bowl, and it’s only 3 steps? We’ve basically created the lazy man’s cookie. As Emeril Lagasse would say, BAM! We’ve created the easiest recipe for you to make. Add a little ice cream (or just cover the whole top of the cookie with it!) and you’ve got the perfect (and did we mention easiest?) dessert. Okay, now let’s get baking!
