How to make a Pitaya Smoothie Bowl


When we were in Atlanta last month, we ate smoothie bowls for the first time and they were delicious! Have you ever had one? We’ve been obsessed with them ever since. So, since the weather is warming and summer is on the way, we thought we’d make our own smoothie bowls.

Not only are smoothie bowls delicious and healthy, but they’re also ridiculously easy! This one literally only has a few ingredients and one step. When you’re on the go this summer you’ll be able to whip this up in no time. And if you’re in a real hurry, you forgo the bowl and just drink this on the way out the door as a smoothie!

This recipe makes 2 medium sized servings or one really large one. We made this and then split it for dinner and were stuffed when we were done!

Pitaya Smoothie Bowl

Servings 2


  • 12 oz Pitaya frozen
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 mango diced
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • granola optional
  • coconut optional
  • strawberries optional
  • mango optional


  1. In a blender, blend together the pitaya, sliced banana, cubed mango, and almond milk. Top with granola, coconut, and fresh fruit if you wish.
