Peach Cobbler Monkey Bread

We know we’ve probably said this like one hundred billion times before and you’re probably tired of hearing it, but our favorite part of summer is all the fresh fruit! We would eat it everyday, year round if we could! You want to know what can make fresh fruit even better? When its on sale! (which it almost always is during summer!) So, when peaches we’re on sale, we were chomping at the bit to make something peach flavored. We came up with the idea to do something that would be quick and easy and Peach Cobbler Monkey Bread was the end result and it’s delicious!

Peach Cobbler Monkey Bread is absolutely delicious! It combines and quick and easy dessert with a summer time classic and the result is amazing. It has that peachy flavor that summer demands while also having that buttery, brown sugar-y flavor that is synonymous with monkey bread.

Not to mention, this pairs perfectly with ice cream, the quintessential summer dessert. We thought it paired perfectly with this new Blueberry Cardamom ice cream from So Delicious. (this isn’t a sponsored post or anything, we just really love it!)

For this recipe, you can use peeled or unpeeled peaches, depending on your preference, we peeled because while we love peaches we aren’t huge fans of their skins (the fuzz kind of freaks us out…)

Peach Cobbler Monkey Bread

Servings 8


For the Biscuits

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

For the Filling

  • 2 peaches diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar


For the Biscuits:

  1. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. 

  2. Cut the butter into chunks and mix into the flour mixture by hand until the butter is about the size of peas. Mix in milk. Set aside.

For the Monkey Bread

  1. Mix together the peaches, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. 

  2. Chunk the biscuit dough into small pieces (you can just rip it!). Mix in the peaches. Dump into a bundt pan.

  3. Melt the butter and whisk in the brown sugar. Pour over the peaches and biscuit dough. 

  4. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
