Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting

Chocolate. Chocolate makes everything better. Having a bad day? Eat some chocolate. Having a good day? Eat chocolate? Celebrating something? Chocolate! We love chocolate, and this is an accurate description of our life. Pretty much everything that we bake has chocolate in it in some way because its just so good!

There’s only one thing that can make chocolate better, and that’s peanut butter! Chocolate and peanut butter are the perfect combinations. Their like two peas in a pod, best friends, its hard to have one and not the other.

Making chocolate peanut butter cupcakes just seemed like the perfect combination, and it was! These cupcakes are absolutely delicious! whenever we want some chocolate cake, this is the recipe that we use.

We use the Devil’s Food Cake recipe from King Arthur Flour, that you can find here. The only thing that we do different in this recipe is that we use almond milk, and typically we use chocolate almond milk, because we like it better, but we have used regular milk. We haven’t used water before, but we’re positive that it’s still delicious!

    1. Thank you! This is the recipe that we use:
      1/2 cup butter, softened
      1 cup creamy peanut butter
      2 cups confectioners sugar
      3 TBsp milk
      Beat together the butter and peanut butter. Gradually add in the confectioners sugar. Incorporate the milk 1 TBsp at a time until the frosting is thick and spreadable.
