S’mores Brownies

This week we bring you S’more brownies! We love brownies and s’mores, so we thought that putting them together would make a delicious treat.

All we did for these brownies was make a crust out of golden graham cereal(yum!), pour our favorite brownie recipe on top of the crust, and bake! When the brownies were done, we sprinkled mini marshmallows on top and put the pan in the broiler to make them nice and golden brown. You can also brown the marshmallows by putting the pan back in the oven just be careful that your brownies don’t overtake. If you are using the broiler, make sure that you don’t leave your brownies in there for too long (no longer than about a minute). They burn really quickly!! We left our first batch in the oven for about two minutes and they started to smoke because they were so burnt. The brownies and marshmallows were so burnt that we had to throw them away. 🙁

The marshmallows can be a little tough to cut, but a hot knife makes the job pretty easy! Just boil some water, pour it into a cup, dip your knife into the water, wipe it off, and cut the brownies!

If you try these brownies let us know what you think! Keep up with all of our baking and traveling escapades on instagram (travelingtwinbakers). Check out the video that we made for these brownies!

We hope you love these brownies as much as we do! 🙂
