Chocolate Chip Cookies

The summer months are typically full of parties, cookouts, and having people over just because. If you’re like us then you can’t let someone come into your house without offering them a cookie or your latest baking creation. So, we have brought you the best recipe for any last minute get together or for every cookout from here on out (because it’s that good, everyone will want you to make them!)


Everyone claims to have the best chocolate chip recipe. But let us tell you they’re wrong. We have the best chocolate chip cookie recipe and you can’t convince us otherwise! Once you eat one, you won’t be able to stop, they’re so good! And if you don’t try this recipe its a darn shame because you’ll be missing out on the best experience of your life πŸ˜‰


One of the reasons that we love this recipe so much is that it’s so quick and easy to make. All you need is one bowl and a wooden spoon and you can whip this recipe up in a flash. (which also happens to be one of the best tv shows on, but I digress…)


Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup butter (2 sticks) butter

2 cups brown sugar (light or dark)

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

3 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

2 cups chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 375F. In a microwave safe mixing bowl (large enough for the whole recipe), melt the butter.
  2. Mix in the brown sugar with a wooden spoon until the sugar and the butter are combined. Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix until the they are completely mixed in.
  3. Add the flour and baking soda. Stir just until moist, then add in the chocolate chips Stir until they are mixed throughout the batter.
  4. Drop by a large ice cream scoops (or spoonfuls). Bake for 10-12 min or until they are golden.
  5. Enjoy!!
